Happy first birthday 'Nanners, what a year it's been!
Banana Boy achieved his AKC Championship with owner/handler Ian Beck 3 days after his first birthday showing against intense competition in the Northeast. He has earned multiple OH Hearding Group Placings and a Herding Group 4 in his short career.
With owner/handler RJ Rautio, Banana Boy completed his UKC Championship in two weekends (with breed competition), winning multiple group placings and competing in the BIS ring twice!
We believe that being stewards of such a rare breed requires those involved to take all steps necessary to ensure the continued longevity of these amazing dogs. Banana has undergone initial genetic testing and it has been recorded with OFA.
As we continue on this journey and age-appropriate health testing is completed it will be publically posted via OFA.
Banana is also a proud participant in the AKC DNA program, with his genotype on file with the AKC.
